This is me, Loralee, with my gelding named Garlic.  When I'm not busy with my family, kids and my business, I try to get out riding as much as possible!  I find inner peace and inspiration while out riding the trails.  It reminds me again and again why I love Mother Nature so much and why we need to do our best to keep our Earth clean.
Toto, we're home, we're HOME!  Yes, Prairie Tales does reside in the Land of Oz, or other wise known as Kansas!  We do not reside within any city limits, but we are close to the Wichita, Ks metro.  Our business is located only a few short miles south of Wichita, just outside of the Haysville area.

Does anyone know their Superman trivia?  Did you know that Wichita is the inspiration for Metropolis, and nearby neighboring town, Wellington, is the hometown inspiration for Smallville.

Wichita's nickname is "The Air Capital of the World".  This is because Boeing, Beach, Cessna, and Lear Jet all have large plants here in Wichita!

The state's LARGEST newpaper is the "Wichita Eagle"!  (the Kansas City Star is a Missouri publication)

Kansan's are well known for having a strong sense of pride and love for their home towns.  As Dorothy Gale said in the movie after coming home from Oz, "there's no place like home!"
